"It’s somewhat difficult to characterise The Inhabited Pathway—part biography, personal thesis, monograph—but careful editing binds it tightly; its success residing less in the presentation of any individual house than in the sensitive distillation and representation of a lifetime’s work. This handsome book makes a powerful introduction to an architect whose work deserves to be widely appreciated." David Roberts, Architectural Review
We are delighted that books from both Park Books and Scheidegger & Spiess made it on the list of the 25 Most Beautiful German Books 2018: New Housing in Zurich, Auftritt Appenzell, and American Reader at Home.
Congratulations to the designers Antje Kolm, Diego Bontognali and Valeria Bonin from Bonbon, Ludovic Balland, and all others who have contributed to this success!
The bookstore Never Stop Reading is located in Zurich's old town, only a few steps from the Kunsthaus, the University, and ETH. The store features a broad range of international publications on architecture, photography, art, and design, as well as a section of general-interest English books. The new spaces can be used for small exhibitions and we'll be hosting a diverse program of book launches, readings, panel discussions . . . We're looking forward to seeing you there!
